Cave Point County Park is known as the one of the most photographed places in the county. On Lake Michigan, this enchanting park has shoreline cliffs and features trails for hiking, picnic areas, and a gazebo that is often used for wedding photographs.
Whitefish Dunes Park is open all year and features a boardwalk and trails that can be used to watch local waterfowl or explore Lake Michigan’s shores, wetlands, and forests. Visitors benefit from programs, exhibits, and displays that relate to the area. While camping is not permitted in this park, you are able to walk along the candle lit trails during winter months.
Just a few minutes from Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol Town Park is located in Institute. Throughout the year, different sports groups in the community use this park for games and tournaments. The park features a picnic area, playground, and a covered pavilion. You’ll also find a tennis court and a basketball court.
